Getting to try general Middle Eastern Cuisine is new for us, and I must say that we were fortunate that we had such a pleasant first experience with it. On the menu, our four-person group picked the four-person Haneeth combo. The portion was very generous - $109 for four people stuffed basically to the brim with a large box of unfinished rice that we took out. Beautiful experience. The ambiance is subdued elegant Arabic, I don't know Yemeni culture specifically but it's clear that thoughtful effort went into the decorations. The furnishings are standard American neighborhood restaurant, in keeping with the accessible pricing, and not a distraction. Service staff is gracious, in flowing robes but definitely come across with authentic family vibes. Our local friend ordered family style dishes for us, as seems common in the culture. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. From the atmosphere, to the decor, to the flavors of the foods. Everything is excellent. Never have I had such flavorful lamb chops and such tasteful condiments to go with it. These lamb chops were so good, I had to break them down and get every little bit of meat, fat, and cartilage. I highly recommend the lamb chops, not to mention the soup that I was served as an appetizer was absolutely marvelous.
