Once again order $50 worth of bar b q and get a half assed order. There’s literally no reason for it other than laziness, I’ve given this place so many opportunities but I guess I’ll be going to the mom and pop place up the road, bigger portions lower prices and the smoke flavor is actually there. Really sucks cause I grew up on Papas but it’s just not the same anymore

I have never been here, but my partner has almost 5 years ago and she got food poisoning. We recently moved to Pasadena three years ago and I’ve always wanted to give it a try and today was the day. And let me just say I highly doubt it I’ll give it another try. my partner brought me the mixed platter plate of two ribs two slices of brisket two slices of ham and sausage. For my side I got coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. Also, may I add that this did not come with a drink. First, my ribs were not fully cooked. They were still raw that I had to put them in the oven. the coleslaw had no flavor

I paid right at $30 for 1 lb of lean brisket to go. Get it home and with the container it is not even a pound. Costs way too much to be cheating people. Even worse, the brisket is rubbery and has no flavor. They used to have such amazing brisket I was really looking forward to this. I only ordered lean because last time they gave us so much fat we almost did not have any meat at all. The upcharge for jalapeno bread to be given a single slice is also pretty ridiculous. Complete waste of money.
