I was passing through town and hadn’t had Golden Chick in a while, so I decided to stop in. To my surprise, as soon as I walked in, the restaurant had a very weird smell. I waited about seven minutes before anyone even said hello or acknowledged me and the person in front of me. There were three people behind the counter working on what looked like to-go orders, and one person was changing something that appeared to be for drinks, possibly iced tea. The food here is amazing and a top chicken spot in Del Rio but the wait times are ridiculous! Waited 30 minutes just to get a simple 4pc combo. The cherry on top, they ran out of chicken! What a joke.

Don't waste your time to decide to come here...we had to wait over 20 minutes for chicken tenders... and chicken tenders was so cold ...looks like they used old oil and no taste not even well cooked 😒 the gravy 😒 🙄 😕 sooooo old and cold...not to mention the prices for the food we had was excessive..... last time in this place...plus the biscuits like from 1 day before and we observed that the restaurant sooooo dirty tables are sticking with grease restrooms 🚻 soooo dirty..... and poor thing...the employees IGNORED a the customers when we asked for orders INCOMPLETE......THEY JUST DESERVE

Just got this today...come on people. Ya'll getting sloppy. $9.99 I had way more fries than this before and the Catfish was bigger. Is it the Workers that are slacking or is the company that is shortening the customers per there policy. This should be $7.99 at least
