I was walking down Larimer when I felt the sudden and overwhelming urge to pee. The only place in sight that felt welcoming enough was Star Bar. Not only was I able to walk right in but the bathrooms were immaculate. So clean and comfortable that I actually pooped instead of just peeing. The live music was also amazing. The bar was clean, and the vibe was great. Definitely coming back.

I’m seeing you bad reviews about this bar and I just don’t know why. One of my favourite bars I visited during my week in Denver. Good mix of local craft beers in a nice darkly lit interior giving it the classic dive bar feel . Took our beers outside and relaxed watching the late night crowd staggering around. Probably had one beer too many as we ended up in the outdoor tiki patio drinking from palm tree glasses .

Not sure why the reviews are bad. Expect a dive bar with dive bar patrons and have yourself a time! Killer prices and a sneaky good bourbon selection. Staff rule too
