Stopped at this coffee shop before heading home from a weekend trip and it was the perfect way to end the Des Moines experience. The ambiance of the coffee shop is fantastic, it feels like this place belongs in Colorado. The workers were so nice and the actual cups they use for coffee is so unique! If we’re ever in Des Moines we will definitely be back here.

I absolutely love this coffee shop, it stole my heart on my very first visit! Everything here is so thoughtfully sustainable: they use reusable containers or ones you can return for a fee (like their jars), and even their straws are reusable. It’s the little things like that that make me appreciate a place even more. What really blew me away though is how they handled my iced drink. A near perfect coffee shop. Amazing customer service - after going that 2 days in a row the guy remembered my name and order. Espresso is perfectly brewed and they have good single origin options as well. Specialty drinks are actually unique - no commercially made syrup bottles or knock off drinks from other popular cafes. Inside a cool building as well - which is not an easy thing to find in downtown Des Moines. Highly recommend if you’re an espresso snob.
