Since our beginning in the Lower East Side on Orchard Street in NYC Roasting Plant Coffee believes in fresh-roasted coffee technology. Our Javabot™ roasting and brewing system roasts coffee to order under strict supervision of our roast master, in micro-batches no larger then three pounds.

Nat B★★Nice baristas and good location but the roast quality itself is lacking. I came because my usual roaster was closed and I ran out of beans. I picked up Sumatra single origin and the flavor is nothing like tasting profile. I bought them whole and tried dialing it in 3 separate times but the coffee just comes out bitter and sharp. I suspect it’s due to bean quality. A lot of uneven colors and broken shells, overpriced too compared to others around the area.

The baristas were incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of Halloween. I couldn't help but smile at the playful cat faces they wore – it added a unique charm to the whole vibe. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu!
