Food is nasty- I ordered an omelette with well done hash browns- I got an omelette smothered in butter with 0 flavor- and almost raw hash-browns.after sitting at a table for about 40 minutes before my service even started. Menue is simple it does not have diner nostalgia. The Waitresses were nice enough when they finally bring service- but crowd and atmosphere is a little weird - the food is Disgusting-I mean, really disgusting. I felt gross eating it. Would never go back.

What a great “greasy-spoon” diner. All of your country breakfast favorites are here. I’ve eaten there twice in order to make this review. I ate lunch both times, getting breakfast food, and service was fast and friendly. Great service. Plenty of seating. The food was great. I loved the biscuits. The sausage gravy is peppery, which I like. I had the grits, for the first time in about 40 years, and I still don’t get it. LOTS of people there were enjoying the grits, so I’m guessing they are good. I’ll certainly be eating at the Bankhead Diner anytime I’m in the area. Thanks for the great meals

This is a GREAT diner and a most visit. Samantha was our server, she was prompt, polite, and friendly. Food was your typical diner food, and came out hot and as ordered. Pricing was excellent for food portions.
