While we have several Hyderabad-inspired biryani and kebab options in the Bay Area, I’d say Baithak is probably the best Lucknowi representation. This place is worth a try if you love some good authentic kebabs. On our first visit, we were so impressed and pleasantly overwhelmed by the Kevab and Tikka options that it took us another visit to try their lovely tasking “Lucknowi Chicken Biryani”. We’ve been to Baithak a couple of times, and overall it’s been a good experience. The food is tasty and the portion sizes are generous, perfect for sharing. The Malak Chicken is especially good and definitely worth trying. The ambiance is decent, and overall it’s a nice place for a satisfying meal.

I have to start with the lamb chops — they were perfectly marinated, spicy, and honestly the best I’ve had in California. Their biryani was also really good, and I loved the unique touch of pomegranate, which I had never tried before in biryani. The chicken malai kebab was buttery, flavorful, and delicious as well. The ambience was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the overall experience was amazing. Definitely revisiting this place, especially for those lamb chops!

Nice restaurant with great food! Chicken cheese balls were nice crispy outside and cheesy inside with good flavor. Norani paneer tikka was soft and flavorful, it was served with naan and salad. Lucknowi chicken biryani was very tasty. Portions were good. Ambience is nice. Service is pleasant.
