This not for profit restaurant and farmstead was worth every penny we spent. The selection was greater than expected. The food was just down right fantastic. Quinoa breakfast bowl, the quiche of the day, the breakfast burrito and the better burger were all delicious. The people were buying prepared meals as fast as they were made. As a side the rosemary potatoes were 5 stars.

An amazing heart of a restaurant within the heart of community. Order the number of items you like so as to not waste food; all made from scratch with food coming from their urban farms in and around the restaurant means amazing food with lower than comparative restaurant prices. Convivium is a great space to take a class, hold your events, and consider volunteering (see options on webpage.) And your visit will fill your heart as hope is prevalent to solve food desert issues WITH community.

Absolutely blown out of the water with the experience I had here!! 12/10 recommend!! The food is incredible! I had the Pesto chicken sandwich. My sister and I shared a sweet potato pancake and it was soooo delicious! The service was great! Met the owner! Just absolutely here for the mission and everything this place represents! Do yourself a favor and visit this place!

This place is a hidden gem. We discovered it this year while in town for an event. The bread pudding french toast is to die for, and the coffee is amazing. My girlfriend got a breakfast panini and an almond croissant that she said was to die for. What I love most is that this is all part of a local non-profit with a great mission to help improve the lives of fellow Dubuque residents. It’s off the beaten path a bit, but take the time to find it next time you’re in Dubuque and looking for some great food.
