Immediately seated when we arrived. The host was prompt and attentive. The food was flavorful and came out in less than 15 mins. The atmosphere was quiet at first but it became domewhst loud and busy within 20 minutes. The Monday taco special was $2 for tacos. The Oaxaca bowl and Matahambre Burrito was hot and freshly made. The sweet tea was lacking some tea flavor. The prices are very reasonable and portion size is enough to take home. We will be returning again to try the tacos next.

I was famished after a doctor's appointment, and popped in around 4. The server was great, food was fast, and the birria didn't disappoint. Overall, totally worth a visit as it checks all of the boxes and supports a small business (especially because there is a pricier mexican chain nearby).

The food here overall is better than most Mexican food in Richmond. I had the cheese dip, which was just like any other. I had the stuffed pobleno with seasoned ground beef. The meat was well seasoned and the pepper had a slight bite. The beef taco had the same well seasoned meat. The hard taco shell needed to be heated. It was chewy. The refried beans were well seasoned which most Mexican restaurants don't do well. The salsa had some kick to it, so was not bland. It was average. I got a glass of Sangria. Was a good place to eat. Their Salsa was actually one of the best things thdy had to be honest. It had the right amount of cilantro and spices and was excellent. Had the tacos and burrito combination dinner and it was very good. Wife and friends had margaritas with Agave which were actually on point! Staff friendly and joked some with us. Great place.
