Very disappointed with my experience at Chicken Express tonight 05-07-2026 around 9:30 . The customer service was horrible, and on top of that they refused to make my order half-and-half the way I requested. The food looked overcooked and old, and the quality definitely did not match what I paid for. I normally try to support businesses, but this visit was frustrating from start to finish. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes for a flat Dr Pepper & cheese sticks that were literally empty (no cheese to be found). I literally just threw my money away coming to this place. The fries were good and the cashier was nice but those are the only positive things I can say about my experience. I will never be back to this place even if it was the last place to eat on earth. Thank goodness this place was open during this crazy ice storm. I had the pleasure of getting my order taken by Dakota. Listen, this young lady provided the best customer service I have ever received. She didn't rush me while trying to decide. She was extremely courteous over the intercom. When I pulled up to the window she smiled, greeted me and it was obvious she loves the customers. There were a lot of us in the drive thru. First time here and chicken looked okay. The taste didnt compare to Churches or Popeyes but it was decent. The downfall was no napkins, bag or utensils for my sides. Not a place I will revisit.
