This is a fine ice cream establishment. They had plenty of good options for ice cream, shakes, and floats. There was plenty of seat space and functional bathrooms(ask for a key). The facility could use some aesthetic buffing but a great stop still. There is also a city square across the street that has additional walking/sitting space.

THE best ice cream in Durham and the vegan blueberry lemon is the best flavor I've ever had!! They put effort into their vegan flavors too and it shows. We come here at least once a month for the new flavors and much more often when the vegan blueberry lemon is featured. The employees are always kind and seem happy to be there and it's always clean. I'd give The Parlour ten stars if I could. IT'S SO GOOD!

I stopped in The Parlour today for ice cream. They had a wide variety of flavors. My friend and I tried several and thankfully the gentlemen behind the counter were not annoyed with us. I really liked that the taster spoons were metal instead of plastic. Less waste created that way. I finally decided on passionfruit pineapple and blackberry. Delicious! Honestly wish I could handle more scoops to try more flavors. I was offered a punch card while paying and I declined since I’m just visiting. That lead to a lovely conversation with the employee. Next time I’m in Durham, The Parlour is a must! S
