Ordered a half beef half beef pepperoni pizza, cheese fries and chicken cheesesteak from Colonial. The pizza and fries were great but someone should be given the chair for what they call a chicken cheesesteak. They probably get served better cheesesteaks in the county lockup than what I received last night. Looks like sliced deli meat with Franks hot sauce thrown over it.

The service is always on point, the attention to detail is chef’s-kiss level, and the food? Straight banger after banger. Last night we went with the Colonial fries, turkey hoagie, and a chicken gyro—and lemme tell you, it was a full-on victory lap. The fries were loaded, seasoned perfectly, and dangerous in the best way. The turkey hoagie was stacked, fresh, and built the right way (none of that skimpy nonsense). And the chicken gyro? Just had a juicy cheesesteak with lite fried onions and it was the best one I’ve had in years! The onions were cut super small and cooked good and the perfect amount of cheese and wasn’t over seasoned. I hope and pray the next one I order is this good. Even delicious the next day leftover.

If you’re a Black man or woman, do not support Colonial Kitchen 103 N Union Ave Lansdowne, PA 19050. They openly allow racists to work there. I came inside to pick up an order and overheard an employee say these exact words: “I’m racist,” and then begin making remarks about Black men with beards. All while two Black men with beards were inside the restaurant. However I brought the situation to the attention of the woman at the register, and while she apologized and appeared genuinely sorry, the overall response from the staff was disappointing.
