This seems like a restaurant that stood still in its era. Old seating that hasn't been cleaned probably since they opened. No one greeted us when we came in. Many employees just doing their own thing. My husband thanked them on the way out and 1 lady said you're welcome. The fries I ordered were like mcds fries with cheese. The mushroom burger was good though.

Where else can you get a veal parm sandwich in the middle of the night. That’s right. This Duchess location has a 24/7 drive-thru window. Good food. Good service. A Connecticut institution.

2/15 2:30 pm main st norwalk ct. Just got home with 4 2/$5 hot dogs with bacon looked and tasted funny. Noticed the roll had visible blue mold on it. Please check your food. Hope I don't get sick.

It's Duchess! Hot, fresh, and consistent for as long as I can recall. Big D cheeseburger but spot on and the onion rings were nice and crispy. Location is clean and staff is friendly and quick.
