Listen👂... My food was music 🎶 To my ears. I was visiting Atl & ordered off Uber Eats. This food was sooo good I don't even care that Uber was late picking up my order. It was still fire 🔥 I took a chance and ordered somethings I'd never typically order especially from a new place and using Uber. I ordered the fish & grits with eggs scrambled with cheese. Thumbs Up Diner in East Point is on point! My friend and I were staying in the area on a business trip and had a breakfast meeting planned. My friend searched for a local restaurant with good reviews and found Thumbs Up. It was the right choice! Everything was delicious. I used to LOVE Thumbs Up Diner!! I was so excited to be back in town and able to take my friend who had never been to Atlanta, to one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. To my disappointment the quality of the food was nothing like what I was used to. It was also served cold. The waitress did happily request a new plate from the kitchen, which came out steamy. I did also miss the natural syrup.
