While there was a bit of a wait to gain a table for our meal, there was a fantastic option to hang out in Racy's Coffee Lounge, nestled between the front and rear dining areas of the Nucleus!! The coffees were fantastic and the area was lively so time flew quickly. A table was ready in about 20 minutes, as indicated when we first checked in with the hostess, truly not bad considering it was 11 a.m. on a Sunday. We had the most delicious first visit to The Nucleus Cafe! Their lemon ricotta hotcakes were absolutely heavenly—bright, fluffy, and full of that perfect citrus–ricotta balance. The peppered parmesan hash browns were crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Add a perfectly cooked side of bacon, and I was in breakfast bliss... I was really excited to try out this restaurant. When I sat down I ordered a mimosa for me and my girl. The mimosa was okay. Did lack a little flavor but it did the job. Then I ordered pancakes , hash browns and sausage. The hash browns were HORRIBLE!!!! Tasted like cardboard… it lacked so much taste… Then I tried the pancakes and those were super dry and to be honest … the box pancakes I make tasted way better. We went in with 11 people (called ahead but they don't take reservations) and they were so amazing with accommodating us. I understand the struggle of fitting that many people together but all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ended up splitting the group for about 30 minutes, got drinks, and then when another table cleared out we were all able to sit together. The food was amazing with good pricing for the size, those crepes are huge! Definitely recommend coming here
