Alex Chavez★★I had high hopes for this place. Where to start? I got the 3 meat combo platter: ribs, brisket and wings. Ribs were pulled off the bone tender; literally all the meat came off when I took a bite. Wings were equally as tender, but juicy. Brisket was dry, no smoke ring visible (see picture). Flavor was lacking from all 3. The only standout was the sauce, which luckily over powered the blandness. Ribs show have some bite to them and a true Texas brisket should have that iconic smoke ring and juiciness. What went wrong? Maybe because they are open until 8pm and have to keep inventory?
