First Slice is the place to come if you want to get the freshest, most outstanding treats for a special occasion, if you need to cheer yourself up, or you just want a sweet treat. This spot is actually a non-profit and is dedicated to serving the Chicago community. So not only are you treating yourself to incredible pie, but you are also serving a good cause! I got 2 pies to go today. Got Pina Colada and Sour Cherry! I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Pina colada is soft and love the chunks of pineapple Sour cherry is sweet and the crust is amazing. The cashier was a guy and he was the one they recommended the sour cherry! Good job sir!

Cutest spot for an afternoon slice of pie and a cup of coffee. Nice that they have an espresso machine and a nice variety of delicious pies. They have a pretty extensive lunch menu as well but didn’t get to try- will definitely be back. Limited seating in the back especially on weekends but a great atmosphere. Lots of pies and other items that you can take to go as well.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and were so glad we did. The staff was super friendly, and the place has such a cute, unique charm. Nothing fancy, just comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. We tried the duck sandwich, salad, and buffalo chicken wrap, and all three were delicious. We also had a slice of the apple pie and immediately regretted not trying more! It was incredibly flavorful and the perfect way to finish our meal. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere.
