Visiting the area for Memorial Day weekend and came across this gem in Buffalo. After dinner, our party of 4 said that we would drive the 7 hours again to just come back and eat here. My partner has food allergies which were easy to order around as the menu pointed out Gluten Friendly items. Pictured are the Al Pastor Crudo, Rohan Duck Breast, Pan Seared Scallops, Blackout Cake and Cheesecake for desert. The flavors of all dishes were on point! The service was well paced, didn't feel rushed and we were able to enjoy each course slowly. The atmosphere was warm and a little lively but not too bad. I wish I lived closer, I would visit more often. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience in Buffalo!!!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Oliver’s Restaurant tonight, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We were truly spoiled and treated so wonderfully all evening — five stars all around. The service was impeccable, especially from Devin, who explained every dish so thoughtfully and made the entire experience feel special and effortless. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We started with raw oysters, lobster bisque, and a roasted beef salad — each one was outstanding. For our entrées, we enjoyed the pan-seared scallops and the filet mignon, both cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Dessert was the perfect ending: crème brûlée and their made-in-house rice ice cream, which was incredible. From the food to the service to the overall vibe, everything was amazing. We felt genuinely welcomed and celebrated, and we will absolutely be back. Oliver’s made our anniversary night unforgettable. 💛

We booked reservations here for Valentine’s Day but were honestly underwhelmed. The shrimp appetizer was disappointing—it tasted overly fishy and lacked flavor. While the steak was quite good, the lobster fell short of expectations. The crème brûlée was a nice highlight, but overall, the experience felt overrated. Given the choice, I’d much rather head to Hutch’s or Left Bank for a more consistent meal.

Let me start off by saying, there is a reason Oliver’s is consistently voted the number one restaurant in Buffalo. First of all, the valet parking is wonderful. Nothing like getting out of my car with stiletto boots and being able to walk in nice and easy in this blustery Buffalo weather. Upon entering the restaurant is beautiful, cozy and low lit. Important for a nice atmosphere. We started with a drink in the lounge. I love the house made candied spicy nuts. So delicious with our cocktails! Our server, Devin, was simply amazing. He was informative, helpful and friendly, with the perfect amount of attentiveness. We were then seated at our table. After ordering, Devin brought us an amouse bouche. Love that touch. It was salmon on a rice crisp. Delicious! I ordered the halibut, it was yummy but my first critique was slightly over seasoned and slightly overcooked. We had an outstanding meal at Oliver’s. The service was superb. The biratta salad 🥗 special was fantastic, so fresh, creamy with beautifully toasted crostini - very refreshing. The Berkshire Ribs were next level crazy good!! Prepped three ways - cold smoked, sous vide and then grilled with homemade bbq sauce. Beautiful bite and great tasting sauce. Top that off with Bourbon from their Infinity Bottle and it was money all around. Super evening with super service.
