Atmosphere: 8/10 Located in historic Downtown El Paso, 1922 leans hard into the hidden speakeasy playbook: phone booth entry, “Den” button, dim lighting, and a clear Prohibition-era identity. The space reads like a moody jazz lounge more than a serious cocktail den, with tufted booth seating, lounge-heavy layouts, chandeliers, dark wood floors, and vintage-style wall finishes. Calm jazz at the right volume works well here, and the intimate, low-lit vibe is definitely the strongest part of the experience. Plenty of seating is a plus. The backbar is decent, but it is not really the visual focus

A pretty cool concept, a cool theme. A Speakeasy in Downtown El Paso. Phone both outside is what you use to gain entrance into the bar. Live music on Friday and Saturday. I was let in by Natalie and my Bartender was Rob. I spoke with another staff member, Rick, while I enjoyed my cocktails. Staff is very friendly. I ordered Chicken tacos when I became hungry. They have crab cake tacos, which a neighbor tried and declared them excellent, as well. I went on a Saturday and listened to a solo singer till 9pm who was good. A trio was to begin playing at 10pm. Super cute vibes and the live music is awesome. Drinks are about $15, but all tasty. We didn't have reservations, but got lucky there was no wait at the bar.

Friday was my first day going to this place and I absolutely love it. The ambiance, the drinks and the inside of the place are absolutely amazing and unique. Very nice spot to just go and have a romantic little date and chill. They had live Jazz music which made the experience very pleasant. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is that it did take forever to get our drinks everytime we ordered. The bar is really small and as it got busier they couldn't keep up with the drinks. The waiters we had was soooo nice though. Overall its a great spot to go too. I would definitely go back.
