Taconeta was one of those meals that stops you mid bite. From the menu: “Grilled sweet potatoes with pumpkin seed salsa macha, cilantro-lime aioli, and crispy kale.” The tacos were outstanding. We stopped in at 3:00pm on a Saturday and there were 5 people ahead of us line. We waited about 15 minutes to order and be seated. There were plenty of tables available. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food was top-notch, will definitely be back. The sweet potatoes are by far the best thing on the menu, I’d come back just for those.

So fresh and delicious! I absolutely recommend a stop when in El Paso. Best brisket & best taco I have ever had. Tried 4 different ones: brisket confit, smoked chicken, vegan tempura oyster mushroom, and the fish. All were really good but my favorites were the oyster mushroom, & the brisket confit. Again, best brisket & best taco I have ever had. Sooo flavorful. The handmade heirloom blue corn tortillas really are the foundation. They sell them by the dozen, and are made to order. I recommend a stack.

Not cheap as expected, but some of the most flavorful delicious tacos I’ve ever tasted. We started with the elote (corn on the cob) then had a grilled shrimp, grilled fish, and pollo(chicken) taco at the bar with a blue corn larger. The blue corn tortillas were amazing - I noticed they were 1/2 blue, 1/2 white but still delicious. Eating at the bar worked out well - the bartender helped us order and the tacos came out fast.
