I was told to check out this place as it was a great spot in Encinitas, little did I know what I was in for. I went up to the counter and I ordered two carne asada tostadas. I paid and then I sat down to wait. When my food was called I picked it up and sat down at the table. First off, the tables were very sticky I didn't look like anyone had cleaned them. Secondly, when I went to eat the tostada something was off about it. Carne asada meet was very dry, unseasoned, and completely rock hard. Love this spot. Great menu and ready to serve hot food. birria fe chivo on Monday and Saturday. Salsa bar. Good value. Big portions. Hearty , authentic slow cooked real food . Nice salsa bar and always have spicy carrots.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a $14 shrimp burrito to go and actually tipped even though I was taking it to go. I placed my order and said “thank you”. No response. When the girl at the counter handed me my order I said “ thank you very much, have a great day!” Again, no response and she just walked away. The burrito was small and way over priced. The taste was very bland and disappointing.
