This is a fantastic spot. It's a locally owned establishment that offers exceptional service and features some truly unique items for sale. It's definitely not what you'd typically expect from a Mexican restaurant. In fact, it's more likely that the cuisine is actually Guatemalan. The food is delicious, and you can definitely taste that it's made with care and lots of passion.

Heydy’s Place was truly an incredible experience. The atmosphere and artwork is amazing inside this restaurant. What’s impressive is how they translate that to their food. Heydy’s Place blends Guatemalan and Mexican culture and cuisine into their incredible thought out dishes. The food we had on our Spotlight visit at Heydy’s left us wanting more of their menu items. The Tamale was so soft, tender, it was moist, it had me questioning how they could be a this level. The Pork Enchilada, was exceptionally delicious as well.
