Happened to be out from Seattle. The food is absolutely delicious! The staff is so friendly and helpful! The atmosphere reminds me of an older diner. A nice gentleman even brought our food out, and they were playing 50s' rockabilly on the radio. LOVE this place! Bravo Zulu y'all 🫡

Hands down the best chain for clam chowder. The clam chowder bowl is amazing with a big amount to eat. The oyster and chips was amazing and huge! The cod and fish was amazing also. Clean place as well. The lady working the front was friendly and helpful. The guy in the kitchen sure can prepare some great food. The cod didn’t have a lot of breading like most fish and chip places do. Great time coming in today. Worth the visit.

Visited in June…and I was blown away! Súper fresh and perfectly seasoned. I’ve read that their clam chowder is great— and that is absolutely correct in this location! We tried their fried shrimp and of course fish and chips. Hot, crispy, not greasy, and yummy! My faves were the clam chowder (and I know my clam chowders coast to coast) and fried shrimp. I would have posted a pic of the clam chowder, but that was devoured. I dream about this meal and wake up saddened since I’m nowhere near this Ivar’s. We will definitely come back again.

Great view, awesome food. One caveat: we waited half an hour for a table. One waitress led us outside and said only outside table was available or we’d wait for another hour. It was windy outside and my kiddo didnt like it. So we went back to the waiting queue. I then went ahead and told another waitress that we would pass on sitting outside. Then she said we had plenty of indoor tables and we were led to our table. I was not sure why the first person said no while there were plenty of tables - I felt belied. Overall the food was great. Ordered wild halibut and it was wonderful - decent bala
