My wife and I had dinner here, after having driven by, for years. It didn't fail to impress! When we arrived, there was only one other group of people in the establishment. By the time we left, it was packed. However, it did not lose its quaint atmosphere. Our server was attentive and conversational. Ordered the arancini and calamari for appetizers. Both were very good. We also had the Asiago gnocchi with chicken Parmesan and the farfalle salmon. Both delicious! Ended our anniversary experience with the hazelnut pear tart served with a coffee gelato. Divine! Service is attentive, the atmosphere Is lovely. It felt like eating at someone’s nonna’s house.

A fabulous Italian outing! Trattoria Demi transports you to the cobblestone streets of Italy with its interior decoration and cozy atmosphere. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. another birthday dinner down the drain for Evanston. came here tonite for a birthday dinner. very disappointed as we had been hear once before for almost two years ago. We started off with the fried calamari and the octopus appetizers, I had the chicken parmesan and my son had the shrimp scampi with linguine. let's start with the starters the calamari was rubbery and chewy and bland the octopus was acceptable, the chicken parmesan first off the chicken was dry, and absolutely no flavor on the chicken, the breeding was borderline soggy, the worst part was the sauce on the pasta, it was literall
