bianca atmodjo★★★★★phenomenal! what an underrated gem. we wanted to try fufu for the first time and it was a lovely experience. i also ordered the fried fish and oh my goodness the flavors were THERE. sooo yummy. their fried bananas were also my favorite, they give alot!!
Apollo Alto★★★★★I've ordered a few meals from this restaurant both on a recommendation to try Nigerian and broader West African cuisine and also out of enthusiasm to just try something new and different. I am happy to say that I have been happy with all of my orders. Egusi Soup w/ a side of Fufu was warm and earthy with a variety of spices. Using the Fufu (sort of akin to a large dumpling) to absorb juices was a pleasant texture compliment. Jollof Rice will be pleasant for anyone who likes tomato-forward flavors and spices. Very solid as a side dish or a main dish. Lastly I ordered Mafe (Peanut stew) with
Kathirazhagan Appavoo★★★★A place discovered during a recent search for African cuisine near Everett, this restaurant was a surprising find despite its good reviews and noticeable presence. My friend and I visited around 6 PM on a Friday evening and were the sole diners at the time in the spacious establishment. Parking is street-only, so plan accordingly. Inside, the restaurant is large with ample seating. We started with appetizers: the Fried Plantains were delicious, and the Beef Samosas were also enjoyable. For our main dishes, we tried the Golden Pompano from the Grill, which was good overall but a touch too salty
Martín Galindo★★★★was very good, I got the fufu and egusi. The workers were overly nice, i enjoyed the company they had to give and the joy they passed to me. im a very food-experimental man and id say the food was good, very well seasoned but not my type of dish, the egusi (to me) has an acquired taste and I couldnt quite acquire it. im glad I got to experience it with some amazing people and I hope to come back and try some more food.
