Bogul Bogul has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Federal Way. Every time I visit, the food tastes like true Korean comfort, and this trip was no exception. I ordered the Spam fried rice and the fish cake soup — two simple dishes, but they were done so well. The Spam fried rice was perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of savory flavor and that lightly crisp texture you only get when it’s cooked just right. When we first entered, we were the only white couple there at the time. We were treated extremely well, and didn't feel out of place at all! When my wife asked for extra spicy on her fried calamariand vegetables, it was actually decently spicy (coming from people who enjoy ghost peppers!). The banchan was excellent, although we would have liked if the server had asked if we wanted more. Our food came out extremely fast, and was delicious! The tea was excellent as well. Dinner for the two of us was under $50. Definitely will be coming back!
