Visited in May 2026. Great time at this super friendly, well established, neighborhood tavern. Delicious food and drinks. Respectable beer selection. Quite possibly the best crab cake ever. Staff were very attentive. Nice chat with other patrons. In other words, exactly what you want from a good bar.

Great local family-owned spot with extremely friendly and attentive service. The crab cake was very expensive ($30) but was really good, with large chunks of crab barely held together with a small amount of batter. However, I thought it should at least come with a salad or fries instead of a bag of chips and saltines for the price. The bartender/server was great though and made great recommendations for beers.

We stopped in just before lunch time for a crab cake snack and they were great. They were just opening and bartender Melissa was super friendly and told us about the bar's history and the story of the building we were in. As visitors we got a lesson on local beer "Natty Boh". Fun time, great snack.
