This is our second time visiting. Great seafood restaurant, especially if you like oysters. The two buck shuck oysters were fresh and tasty. The yellowfin tuna tartare was full of flavor; the combination of buttered toast with the tuna and truffle was really satisfying. We also had a side of fries that was piping hot and sufficiently seasoned. We got seats at the bar. Ryan was attentive and friendly. Overall relaxing atmosphere. Recently, my husband & I finally tried Voyager after having it on our list for many years. When I saw that they were having their annual Mid-Winter Lobster Boil, it sounded like fun and the perfect opportunity to check them out. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. My husband had a new-to-him beer, which he enjoyed, and I tried the House Martini, which had saffron-infused gin, Strega and dill oil with a pickled onion. It was unique and enjoyable. One of the best restaurants in Oakland county, possibly the whole metro. Their seafood is the freshest you can find! They’re frequently rotating specials which makes it fun to frequent. I’m not the biggest fan of their grilled items, occasionally the lighter fluid smell clouds the taste of things, so I just avoid it, but being there for the seafood like crab dishes, it’s easy to avoid.
