We stopped by Stone Tavern Saturday night completely by "accident". We headed out to another local restaurant on Rt202 after calling ahead. We were told to go ahead and come out, then when we arrived, we were turned away. So, we decided to hit Rt22, figuring we'd have to find something. And there it was... STONE TAVERN. They've taken over the location of the old Hollihands. In any event, we were welcomed and seated almost immediately. Stopped in at 8ish on a Sat night & they had a few tables open. We were seated and waited a bit for someone to come over to get our drink & app order. The app, waters, & food came in a reasonable amount of time. We did sit a while with empty glasses about half-way into our meal. The yucca bites were fried balls with cheese inside & were pretty good. The Bleu burgers were nice and big, taste was good. The shrimp scampi was served with 5 shrimp and good portion of linguine at $28 and reported as "too lemony." Prices are a little high on the entrees.

Atmosphere is relaxing and quite beautiful. Comfortable seating spacious booths with awesome lighting it definitely sets a good vibe. Lots of TVs great bar awesome wine and beer selection. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.. Staff were kind, courteous and helpful. We loved our server Eddy M. He was fantastic very upbeat, happy and funny. We will definitely be returning.

First things first, this was a quick takeout as I was out working. I ordered the cowboy Ribeye steak medium well and the Chicken Francese. The steak was more of super well done, very chewy and to be honest didnt taste seasoning. Secondly there was no cutlery included. We had to eat the salad and both meals with our hands. I will sure give them another try for a second time hopefully they impress. Will keep you updated
