Great building inside. Also had outside seating. Inside seating is basically old church pews like 30' long. So it's possible you can be sharing a long table with other people, if that's an issue for you. Service was great and quite a bit of choices on the menu. Had the Scotch egg for an app. It was really good and the mustard with it really completed it. Had the Reuben pasty. These things come out really hot and fresh so be prepared to have it sit a few minutes to be able to handle and consume. Once I was able to eat it, it was very tasty and the Russian dressing on the side that comes with it

Wow! I've never seen so many pastys in my life. So many to choose from & many other interesting options on their menu. I had the lamb w/ rutabaga & mint. Also ordered the beet salad, beets, pine nuts, cheese & dressing on a huge bed of spinach. Pricy but worth it, so much food I could have split it with a friend. Large bar & spacious dining room w/ great atmosphere, a lounge area w/ armchairs & couches, beir hall style long tables with church pew benches, fully stocked bar, back patio w/ gas fire wall, friendly staff. Lovely experience from start to finish. The food was really nice, the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and they even helped us choose the best drink for us. The ambiance is truly world-class while still feeling cozy, and the outdoor patio is a great bonus. Inside, the open bar and pool tables add to the fun atmosphere, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall, it’s a lovely restaurant and definitely worth a visit.

A good place if you crave Cornish pasty, the menu has more than 30 different pasty, vegan, vegetarian, meaty… but more than half of the menu wasn’t available when we went for dinner, which is a bit disappointing, I couldn’t get what I wanted. Of course I could still pick something and it tasted good, but maybe they should revise the menu and keep 10-15 pasty options, which are always available. The interior rather has a pub vibe than a restaurant, it’s quite dark inside, but it has a character for sure!
