One of the best local places for a good chicken roti and other Trinidadian dishes but the customer service is not consistent and the line can be long with an even longer wait time. We understand that good employees are hard to come by but it's a balancing act in the food business. Find the right balance and your profit margin goes through the roof.

Very disappointed today. Placed an order on the phone that was not ready when I arrived and then it was thrown together. No sauces put on the doubles and one tiny serving of each sauce put in the bag. For an order of 12 doubles. The boneless curry chicken roti was packed with potatoes and 4 pieces of chicken.it was so dry and and flavorless because it was just mashed potatoes . I will not be traveling from the Bronx anymore.! I used to love this place! The tip I left should be used for advice not service!

This is a hidden gem. The food here is awesome! The prices are amazing in this economy and they pack your plate. I come here often and there’s always a line of happy faces inside waiting for their turn to order. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! It’s always a pleasurable experience. What sweet ladies working there. Great sense of humor, kind, and patient if you’re not familiar with the cuisine. The shrimp double was the best, the shrimp was quality and perfectly cooked and spiced and love totally went into making my boneless chicken roti. And reasonably priced!!! Hands down better than the more well known place down the street. Def will be back
