We were vsiting from Utah and decided to stop in. Inside it feels really comfortable. The onion soup was amazing. The Little John was amazing. The cheeseburger was amazing. When the server asked how I would like my burger done we knew the kitchen knew their stuff. Our server was great. I loved that the food was so good and affordable. Quick tip: Remember your sunglasses for when you leave. It's very dimly lit so when you go back into the daylight you may need time to adjust before you can drive.

Young hostess girl who took our name was very bubbly and welcoming. I ordered the fish fry and unfortunately it is not something that I would order again. It tasted a little too "fishy" for me and didn't have a lot of flavor, but I understand that everyone has different taste buds. I have heard the burgers are really good so maybe sometime we will give their food another try.

My salad was good. Not many gf options which I knew going in....wanted a bloody but I think the waitress was either uninterested or too busy to check the mix to see what it was/if it was gf. Unfortunately, I can't trust things that are "probably" a standard used mix. My friend said her foccacia bun was very good and fluffy!

This was my first time visiting in 38 years. They discontinued the toga & robe uniforms just last August 2024, and replaced them with maroon polo tops. I suppose that's a sign of the times. The restaurant exterior and interior are exactly as remembered, with 2 small stained glass windows providing all of the natural light inside. It's a neat place, uniquely original. The wait staff was friendly and the food was deliciously filling.
