Low key coffee shop in a highly transited area. There always seems to be seating which is nice. The staff are nice, the music is good and low enough to chat, and the selection of goods is plenty. I took off one star for the price. There’s a Dunkin and a Starbucks across the cross streets which are more affordable, but if prices don’t bother you, then I recommend it fully. I spent a little over $30 for a mocha, an almond milk, and 4 pastries (chocolate croissant, rainbow cookie, blueberry muffin, and banana walnut pound cake).

I just returned from one of many trips to Lima, Peru, where coffee has gotten big. Good espressos and cappuccinos can be had in most neighborhoods, even at gas stations both in the city and outside it along the highway. Alas, in NYC this isn't the case, but Gregory's sold me a decent cup of coffee a while back. So I wanted to try the espresso in Forest Hills. Well, it does have a bit of crema on top, that brown layer of creaminess, but it's served in a drip coffee sized mug too large to maintain proper temperature. As a local resident of Forest Hills, I truly consider this coffee shop to be one of the finest gems in our community. Since I live nearby, I visit almost every day and am consistently impressed by the quality of the food and beverages, which are clearly prepared with care. The manager and her entire staff are incredibly sweet, courteous, friendly, and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Between the fair pricing, the cozy atmosphere, and the spotless environment, this remains my absolute favorite neighborhood spot.

It was a chill Friday morning. Stopped here after a doctor visit. Being a Gregular, I opted to stop for a latte and a chocolate croissant while waiting for my train. Super convenient location between the subway and the LIRR. Love the vibe of this Forest Hills location. The staff is nice and friendly. They even put a little pumpkin on my latte!
