Decided to check out this local sushi spot on Austin St. after noticing the steady foot traffic. It’s a small place with just two tables, but the sushi is made fresh on-site. Some rolls were delicious, while others could use a bit more flavor—but overall, it’s a solid option for what and where it is. Don’t expect a fancy presentation or upscale atmosphere—just simple, friendly service and satisfying sushi.

This place has the tastiest, freshest sushi. The spicy tuna flavor is spot on, no other place makes it that good. All their other fish and rolls are amazing. I have been eating at this spot since it opened over 15 years ago, and there were years where I would dine here almost every weekend during college… and the freshness, taste and quality has always been consistent and amazing, I was never disappointed. Now that it’s winter, I highly recommend getting the cozy hot udon soup. Their miso soup is perfect too, the yummiest miso soup out of any sushi place I ever tried and I have tried many. I u
