I’m thankful Fort Wayne has a Portillo’s. After visiting the Fishers location and really enjoying it, this one is great to have close by. The drive-thru is efficient, and the touch screens inside make ordering easy. The inside is bright, clean, open, and fun. There’s plenty of seating, the condiment and utensil area is well stocked, and every time I’ve been in, the staff has been keeping things clean. They also offer catering, which is good to know. And of course — the chocolate cake is still the chocolate cake. That alone is worth the stop.

This is the only place that I know where the food looks just like the pictures. Great burgers and dogs. The dining room is very cool as well. Just a great place to enjoy some top not h fast food. Update: Back again.got the bacon double this time. This place is right on the level of 6 guys in taste, quality and price. They have burger bundles for $9.99 for those watching the budget. You'll love it here. Trust me.

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The noise level was probably louder than normal, or at least I hope, but because of that my husband and I couldn't have a conversation without almost yelling. However, we will go back (on a weekday) because my salad was spot on 😋 And when I say that I mean EVERYTHING was great about it from the salad to chicken ratio and the crispy bacon giving that extra texture and flavor.
