My wife and I went to dinner at Franklin Chophouse during our one-night stay in Franklin on our trip to Kansas City. We are so happy we chose this restaurant. The food was terrific, and the service was outstanding. We do not get out this way into Tennessee often but if we ever find ourselves in this area again we will most assuredly be back.

The food was alright. Not bad, not great. The steaks lacked seasoning, as noted in other reviews. We added salt/ pepper to ours. The creamed spinach was a little bland. The house salad had amazing house made blue cheese dressing. The environment was okay. It looked dated. It was not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. We sat at the bar. It was clean. The bar staff were very nice. It was our first time here, and probably isn't going to be a place we frequent.

Sadly we lost our favorite resturaunt Hickory Falls after 21 years. Heard this was a similar option provided by the same family. I tried the pot roast it was good got red beans and rice and sweet potatoes. The beans and rice were not as seasoned as Hickory Falls. Service was very attentive and staff was friendly. Will try again sometime. The Rueban was always my favorite. Give them a try next time your passing through Franklin

I wish I lived in Tennessee. This is the best restaurant me and my fiancé have ever been to. The food was so so amazing and our waitress Matt was so kind. We are only here for two weeks but we are going to eat here multiple times. We’re going to miss this gem so much. If you are in the area do not pass up this place.
