This place has a great vibe and has live music Thursday-Sunday. The decor is awesome! I got an old fashioned with their small batch Elijah Craig and my wife got the Calcifier Negroni. The drinks were very good, but the bartenders Phoenix and Frank were amazing! We are visiting from out of state but will definitely make this a stop in whenever we’re rolling through California.

As a person who often goes on solo excursions, unfortunately I can’t give Howlin Wolf all of the props. When I’ve come here with friends, I’ve found the service to be a bit quicker and more gracious. When I’ve come by myself, I’ve waited anywhere from 15-25 minutes to be acknowledged at the bar, and that too only when I work up the courage to say something. It’s not necessarily that I’m afraid to speak up, but I’m hyper vigilant about how I interact with those that work within the service industry so I have a hard time asking for attention versus waiting what I think is my turn. This little bar is so cool and the atmosphere is so chill. Great vibes and decor. The drinks are also just as delicious and have been carefully crafted by the different bartenders. These drinks are not your usuals and it’s so worth it

Really chill vibe here on a Thursday night. Love the decor inside too. They make a good classic old fashioned
