Hard to find a better dinner experience than Top O' the River. It's just always a hit no matter when I go. I grew up in Gadsden, so anytime I can get in here is a win. The service is good and the food is outstanding. Good luck finding this quality of catfish and seafood anywhere else. Pick 1 of their locations and go check them out real soon. You will love it!

Nice tasty family dinner place. Our catfish was lightly dipped in cornmeal and fried. The broiled crawfish were spiced well and recommended by our waiter. We enjoyed our appetizer pan of cornbread with corn kernels, pickled onions and medium-shred mayo based coleslaw. Our baked potato and hush pups were good too. Lucky diners are seated in the wooden booths overlooking the water.

If the parking lot is completely full, don’t let it deter you. This restaurant runs like clockwork, they have plenty of wait staff and the food is fantastic and worth the wait. When you sit down, you automatically get the best coleslaw and cornbread that you have ever tasted with a side of pickled onions. I don’t even like these things but I eat my portion here. My favorite. The Riverboat Special is a generous portion of perfectly seasoned and cooked catfish, fries or baked potato and hush puppies. This is a great shareable for two. This restaurant was recommended by one of our church's pastors. It is his hometown. He even recommended a dinner selection. We were a bit early but the owner invited us on in. The waitress was very personable and helpful. The fried catfish dinner was great and the portions were huge. We'll be back on our next trip.
