The Whataburger in Gallatin has the nicest drive-thru staff of any fast food chain I've ever been to in my 57 years. Particularly there's a young woman with glasses and reddish brown hair who is very friendly. She just makes me happy when I go through the drive-thru. The food is always piping hot and I always get great value. I give Food 4 stars because the chicken strips are pretty obviously Frozen and really could be better (come on corporate). Here we are at what is a burger? We walked in and it is a very clean restaurant. Then we went to order on the little screen thingy things. And it didn’t work so we all had to put our orders in again. Then, they forgot what milkshake flavors we wanted, asked again and still got them wrong somehow. Either way, they were really nice about the mess up. The milkshakes were the best item on the menu, but lactose intolerant people did not handle it well. For a fast food (hamburger) chain, Whataburger is top-notch. I had the Bacon & Cheese large bun (5 inch) with cheddar and guacamole and French fries. The burger was spectacular, the fries were average. Whataburger was celebrating its birthday, so meals came with a free orange-vanilla shake, which was delicious. We used the automated kiosk at the counter to order and found it to be simple to navigate. They give you a number tent and bring your order to you when it is ready. Our service was excellent. The manager, Wes, was courteous and professional.

30 mins in drive thru for 3 cars... This is the place to come if you want to have a nice concert or conversation in your car. But if you are actually hungry you might want to stop somewhere else for food first. Maybe by the time you finish the food you bring your order might be ready. Slowest drive thru experience and extremely rude staff including what I assume was the manager.
