Historic for a reason. This is the location to be if you love fresh seafood, top notch service and a relaxing atmosphere GULF FRONT VIEWS! We started with chargrilled oysters and couldn't get enough. Then we ordered Pecan crusted Mahi Mahi, perfectly cooked, buttery and nutty complimenting the delicate flavor of the flaky white fish. We also had seared Ahi tuna. We came to Gaido’s for a birthday dinner, and the entire experience was wonderful. We dressed up a bit for the occasion, and it felt like the perfect place for a special night out. Our server also brought out a dessert with a candle which was a very thoughtful touch. The fish specials were absolutely outstanding—fresh, perfectly prepared, and some of the best seafood we’ve had in Galveston. Every course was delicious, and the meal was truly memorable. Hands down one of our best dining experiences in Galveston! ✨ Think classic elegance, exceptional seafood, and that timeless, attentive service that makes the whole evening feel special. Kid friendly, and our 5 year old said it’s the best grilled cheese he’s ever had! The onion rings were top notch (if you’re not a horse-radish fan like me, just ask for some of the house made ranch dressing!) the stuffed shrimp was fresh and and you can tell it was prepared fresh in the kitchen! Great experience and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend making reservations.

This was perhaps the best dining experience ive had in years. Worth every penny and driv8ng from a distance to get to. 115 years in the business and they know how to treat their guests. Melissa was our server and she was amazing. The food, desserts, atmosphere, all of it... 6 Stars honestly... this place should be a Michelin Star restaurant. We highly recommend the Chocolate Mousse and the Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert.
