Had a lovely Friday afternoon stop here to get some work done and enjoy a latte. I tried the house latte (forget the name). The barista noticed that I wasn't sweet crazy and made it less sweet which was good. I still thought it was sweet enough so I am glad I didn't get the original. Great atmosphere to sit and get some work done. Plenty of outlets and a nice open airy room. You can also sit out back as an option. Great place to chill for an hour.

Lamppost Coffee is a nice little coffee shop on the square. Really good drip coffee! I ordered a huge chocolate chip cookie, that they warmed up for me. What a yummy treat! They have a good food menu, bakery items, and merch for sale as well. Plenty of sitting inside, cool art displayed on the walls and a couple quint cafe tables outside. I visited here in December and the string lights everywhere were very beautiful and inviting.

The coffee really hit the spot but for today, the toast was where it really shined. I got the smoked salmon and my girlfriend got the avocado. We shared each and, while I have nothing whatsoever bad to say about the salmon (with capers, mind you!), I’m not even lying, the avocado toast was so good it brought tears to my eyes. So glad I found this place, on this random little “vacation” from Austin. Worth the drive back up someday soon, I’m sure.
