After moving overseas, one of the foods my husband and I were most looking forward to when visiting home was DMV pho. DMV pho is very similar to Southern-style pho. The broth is aromatic and sweeter— served with fresh herbs, lime, and jalapeños on the side. We actually ended up at here by accident after I put the wrong address into Google Maps. as someone who is Vietnamese, I would say this is great pho spot! $14 for a small bowl of the house special pho with all the meats. really filling (they don't skimp!) and good broth for the price. service was friendly and attentive despite being a little busy during dinner time. the place looked clean.

Honestly the best pho in the DMV. Every other spot either has inconsistent days eith their broth, or its routinely not strained enough - very fatty. Pho 81 takes the time to take care of their broth properly. It always tastes the same - perfect.
