This is the best option for somewhat healthy takeout in the area so it deserves at least 4 stars for that. Chicken is best when it is pulled off of heat exactly when it reaches 165 degrees internally. EPG, like most grocery stores rotisserie birds are left to cook well above 165 degrees probably to limit liability. I guess they are looking for 180 degrees internal temperature. The result is mealy, overcooked chicken. They try to dress it up with all of their sauce and side options but it still as overcooked as most grocery store bagged rotisserie birds

I stopped going to the Newington location because I found that something was different about the flavor of The food that I have been getting for so many years. So I went to the Glastonbury restaurant and was Very pleased except for one issue, the sweet potatoes that I got was only half of the size that I would normally get in Newington. The flavor was 100% on point with all the items I got. I will be returning to this location.

Good spot! We order from there at least once a week now. Salad bowls, fresh rotisserie chicken. Their roasted chicken peas are tremendous. Highly recommend for good, fresh, quick food.
