Reserve 22 was a great Christmas pop-up bar. The holiday cocktail menu offered a nice variety, and the cranberry Aperol Spritz was especially delicious. The atmosphere was very festive, complete with fun photo props for pictures. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed the pretzel appetizer—it was delicious. However, I wouldn’t recommend the fish; it was more like a soggy egg roll.

To be a hundred percent honest this would have been a great venue if the event coordinator (manager) actually paid attention to conversations and emails. She was not easy to reach and her response time lagged. We actually physically went in to see the venue and had a conversation about table set ups etc. Then there was a conversation about alcohol being served. We stated what we wanted to be placed out the day of and nothing was out. I was so busy I didn’t notice until an hour and half into the shower. Then I spoke with the kind man who was handling our event that day. He rushed and got some P

Atmosphere is top notch for the holiday season! The Decorations are tasteful and elegant. Our server was so nice. The food could have been better. I ordered the 8 oz filet. It was the chewiest steak I’ve ever eaten. I could hardly cut it. My uncle ordered the same, he could hardly cut his steak as well. The kids had pizza and a hot dog, which was standard. The hamburger was on soggy bun. Turkey pot pie was good. Shrimp pasta was average. The wedge salad needed more dressing. The 3 desserts were the best part of the meal; tiramisu, blueberry cobbler, chocolate mouse cake.

We had family in town and didn't feel like driving into Chicago so we saw this cute Holiday Pop Up on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It is suggested you make reservations so we went the Friday after Thanksgiving for lunch. Reserve 22 is located in the beautiful Village Links Golf Course in Glen Ellyn. The interior is beautiful! Our server Nancy was very good and attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu as well as Daily Specials. Prices tho are on the high side and they don't offer many GF items. They also have a kids menu if you ask. We didn't try any of their many Holiday Drin
