The Pit 178 Broad St. Bloomfield, NJ 07003 BBQ Pork Ribs This locally owned takeout spot specializes in Portuguese barbecue. The savory ribs were juicy and they fell right off the bone. A side of house made barbecue sauce spiked the flavor. The serving size was more the plentiful and they’ll definitely be leftovers for another meal. Two sides of your choices are included with the platter. I used to like this place a lot. Recent order was sad. Pulled pork sandwich was just okay, with a very small portion of pulled pork. The side of cole slaw was a 1 ounce portion. Won’t bother coming back. Very sad to me that it’s changed.
