A Goleta classic!! Was in the mood for some quality sashimi and this hit the spot! From the service to the quality cuts of the fish this place is the BEST! The place was poppin around 6pm on a Saturday so definitely get there early or make a reservation if possible. Ordered the Sushi & Sashimi Combo as well as the Deluxe Tiger roll. 100% recommend!

I’ll start with positive. The fish on the Hamachi and salmon nigiri was fresh. Big pieces of fish. Now for the constructive feedback. Is the sushi actually made with sushi rice? Did not taste any vinegar in the rice. It tasted like just regular rice. Ordered the spicy tuna roll and shrimp Tempura roll. Would not recommend the rolls, the fish was not as fresh in the rolls as in the nigiri. Mediocre at best. Great food at a great price. Met the owner, she was really kind immediately helped us choose what we were going to eat. Lunch prices were very competitive, and the salmon nigiri was as it was supposed to be from our time in Japan, falling over the rice instead of the small portions you usually get in the US. A quaint hole in the wall that serves better food than it looks.
