We had a great breakfast at Emmett’s Cafe while visiting my daughter at The Ohio State University. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere is something special. It’s set in a beautifully repurposed former elementary school, which gives the whole experience a unique, memorable character. It is on the expensive side, so come prepared, but the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. This is not just a meal, it feels like an occasion. We will definitely be back.

Tried Emmett’s for the first time this weekend and LOVED it! The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The service was excellent! The barista gave me a chai recommendation that was on point! The food came out at a great pace, even though they were very busy, and it was hot and fresh! My husband and I absolutely loved it! I got the breakfast burrito and he got the burger and we both agreed we would be back again soon!

I love catching brunch here with a friend. The banana bread is one of my all time favorites and while I usually get a mango lassi today I got a cherry lime drink as well as a Mediterranean style breakfast sandwich from their summer menu. The sandwich was very good but a little difficult to hold and eat so I ended up using a fork and knife. It’s quite difficult to find an open spot on the weekend during peak hours and can get quite noisy as well so I prefer to go during the weekday.

Ordered a seasonal drink, strawberry rhubarb matcha. I was given a drink with white cream and there was no taste of strawberries whatsoever in either the cream or drink. I thought they gave me the wrong order and I asked the employee if the strawberry rhubarb matcha was supposed to be this white because I could not taste the strawberry. I was told by the employee it was white because it was naturally made. I am not expecting red40 but they would not admit their mistake sadly and remake it :/ It tasted like plain cream and the matcha itself had no strawberry flavor either. The food we ordered
