Southern Growl has become my go to spot over the course of the past three years. Consistently brewing and serving delicious beer across multiple varieties, I trend towards IPAs, Sours, and Stouts. However the crew at Growl (include Michelle who’s the best) can pair your tastes with a delicious beer. The kitchen also turns out wonderful food from handhelds and wings to really interested appetizers and elevated bites you wouldn’t expect from a brewery. If you are local don’t sleep on their events, including Silent Book Club, live music, beer tasting dinners, and candle making classes.

My first brewery in Greenville was a success. I wish I would’ve gone when it wasn’t raining because the outdoor space looks amazing. Indoor area was huge too though and I loved they had the Chelsea game on. Huge menu of food and bigger beee menu. Everything was reasonably priced. I got a flight and I am sad to say I didn’t care for the BA Stout or the Pilsner. I did really like the red and the smoked lager. My wife’s hazy ipa was good too. The lunch was nice as well. Love this place! First time here and Abby was incredibly helpful and patient in helping us choose food and beers. They have a great selection on tap. Seems like the menu changes weekly which was really cool. Pet friendly so bring your furry friends!

Tons of seating on a beautiful patio. All benches have big, nice umbrellas. Indoor is spacious and nice, too. Plenty of parking and accessible spots. Bathrooms are single stall, family-style, clean. Excellent service and delicious food for great prices. We're not beer drinkers but loved the beer! The pairings are so well-designed. Accessible patio and designated smoking area. Lots of spacing between tables. Great for families, even with games for kids. Dog-friendly including menu items for dogs! Vegetarian and vegan options are limited but very well designed and executed.
