Where do I start... The salsa was definitely NOT up to par. It didn't even taste like salsa. I've always like their salsa but this one just didn't do it. The music they were playing was good, but it repeated itself twice while we were there. We had to ask them to change the disc(lol). Because we were singing along so we knew it was repeated . I love taking my significant other here. Whether it's her birthday or our anniversary, the setting is absolutely perfect, for just about any occasion. The staff that works here are absolute. If you look up the definition of perfection in the webster dictionary, you would see a picture of the La Carreta waiting staff. The food is exceptional and in 5 years coming here i have never had a bad experience nor left unsatisfied. My wife had the fajitas, and I had the tostada deluxe. I totally forgot how much you get in an order of nachos bcause im having 2 meals with what they gave me for take out. (see pic) The food is incredible always "fire" and so reasonably priced for all you get, it smells amazing as soon as you walk in and the staff are ALWAYS glad to answer any questions or help guide you to that perfect meal. This place is such a fun time! There is nothing like it in our Portland area really. You come to the front and there is already people outside the building greeting you. I love it. It feels like a blast to the past when places really went above and beyond to make you feel welcome to their establishments. The food is top tier, always hot and fresh. The portions you get are monstrous!! Enough for leftovers... twice!! Margaritas are delicious, and so is the chips and dip. I love bringing my family here and so should anyone else that is down to have a good time. Very kid friendly.
